As the Chair of the United Way Saint John, Kings & Charlotte Community Investment Advisory Committee, I am so very pleased to announce the organizations that will receive financial support from United Way this year.
The United Way considers funded organizations to be our partners – partners in building better communities for all residents of the region. The work we accomplish together today will create better futures for so many individuals and families.
Our committee carries out significant due diligence in assessing which organizations will receive United Way funding. The United Way does so to ensure investments in partner organizations are in line not only with United Way strategic priorities, but that they also align well with the needs of the communities we serve.
It is only through the generosity of our donors that the United Way is able to provide financial assistance to these important partners. The United Way values the community’s financial contributions and is committed to ensuring that these funds, raised diligently every year, support the best programs, services and organizations at work in our communities.
For 2022, the United Way will invest $1,080,500 in 19 organizations, helping them create positive, life-changing outcomes for individuals and families in Saint John, Kings & Charlotte.
