With your support, and that of countless others, we have raised more than $1.71 million in our annual campaign that wrapped up at the end of February.
It’s truly inspiring to see how our communities rallied in support of the United Way and raised the funds essential to providing programs and services offering life-changing support to people right here in Saint John, Kings and Charlotte.
I’m so grateful for each and every person and organization that gave to the campaign. Every donation is important, particularly this year as rising costs due to inflation and the lack of affordable housing is putting so much pressure on so many.
Know that your generosity will have a direct and transformative impact on the lives of thousands of people across our region.
A big shout out, too, to the United Way staff who have worked so tirelessly to achieve this year’s goal.
Because of this incredible campaign outcome, we can provide strong investments to 21 local agencies helping to create brighter futures.
These agencies are able to lift people out of poverty, empower children and youth through educational and social support, help those affected by intimate partner violence, and so much more. And they are able to do it because of your support of the United Way.

This campaign funding also allows us to continue our work in strengthening the non-profit sector through training, advice and other support. And it allows us to continue to support the 211 service, connecting people 24/7 to support and resources in our communities.
