It has been my privilege to serve as campaign chair for United Way Saint John Kings & Charlotte over the last year.
And I’m very pleased to report that the campaign, with the support of thousands of community-minded individuals and organizations across our region, has reached $1.74 million.
This is an incredible outcome at a time when the need in our communities is greater than ever. Tough times have descended on so many, particularly with the burden of high inflation.
The inflationary climate also made it challenging for the campaign.
But clearly the generosity of our supporters shone through once again, as it has year after year.
I’m incredibly proud to be a part of a region that cares so deeply about helping the most vulnerable.
With the help of people like you, United Way will once again be able to fund the crucial work of our non-profit partners in providing much-needed support and services across our region.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone who gave to the campaign – your thoughtfulness makes for a stronger and brighter future for our region.
And I am so thankful to United Way staff and all the campaign volunteers for their tireless work and dedication to the cause. Your efforts were inspiring and made all the difference.
