As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our United Way community. Together, we’ve tackled challenges, created opportunities, and impacted thousands of local lives.
2024 was an exciting year for United Way Saint John, Kings & Charlotte as we joined with six other United Ways across the region to form United Way Maritimes. Now, after almost six months since our unification, we are sharing knowledge, scaling great ideas and programs, and making exciting plans for the year ahead.
We’re already seeing results through our new Affordable Housing Division’s involvement in various housing projects, opportunities to expand successful programs like United Way PEI’s Executive Director Academy, and our ongoing investment in 214 critical community programs across the Maritimes. These programs meet the needs of our most vulnerable residents, providing safe shelter, nutritious meals, social connection, and so much more.
Your support has been crucial to our work over the past year, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
