We’re excited to have Chelsie Nightingale on our staff as our Community Impact Manager.
Chelsie, formerly the executive director of the Multicultural Association of Sussex, joins us in this new position to foster more collaboration and impact within the non-profit sector in Saint John, Kings and Charlotte.
She will lead work to strengthen community partnerships and relationships within the entire non-profit network in our region with a focus on identifying and addressing the most pressing social issues.
“I really love working in the community. I am passionate about seeing the region thrive. And that’s what this role is. Honestly when I read the title – community impact manager – those were all my trigger words,” Chelsie says. “This is what I love.”
We couldn’t be more delighted. At United Way, we are committed to building strong communities, and a strong non-profit sector is critical for a community to flourish.
Chelsie says she is excited to bring her past experience and perspective as an executive director of a non-profit to the job, and thrilled to be working with other leaders in the sector.
“Every time I got to go to any sort of networking event in my previous role and I was learning about the different non-profits in the region, hearing their impacts, it gave me chills. I get so excited about other people’s passion,” she says. “The idea of getting involved on a deeper level with those groups really appeals to me.”
