Food Security

It’s hard to succeed on a empty belly.

That’s why many non-profits maintain a food pantry to increase food security for their clients while they are attending programs and services at the organization.

These food pantries provide direct access to food while the clients attend programs and provide food bags for individuals to take home.

Food security within programs is provided as part of a suite of wrap-around services that help individuals succeed in their education, employment and training – success that will create long-term food security.

Through this United Way special initiative, you can help local non-profits keep their pantries full and help people succeed!
