Every morning, Ben would kick up a fuss about having to go to school.
Each day was a fight, and his mom lost the fight more than she won it.
Eventually, she noticed Ben would be more inclined to go to school on Wednesdays.
When she asked him about it, he said he was always excited for his Bee Me Kidz class.
The fighting about going to school diminished. Now, Ben doesn’t like to miss school because he doesn’t like to miss the opportunity to be Bee Me Kid of the Day and he certainly never wants to miss his Bee Me Kidz class.
Because of the remarkable turnaround, she started bringing Ben and his two younger sisters to Bee Me Kidz on Saturdays while she and her partner also attend the Bee Me Kidz parent group each week.
This kind of turnaround is made possible thanks to United Way donors, which help fund Bee Me Kidz programs.
